CDEI Update from the Chair – October 2022
Hello dear CDEI community,
It was fantastic to see all the energy towards CDEI during the ASEE annual conference back in June. I have the honor of serving as the CDEI Chair for 2022-2023, and I look forward to learning from you all in this role. In my term, I want to use the Indigenous word GaDuGi (ᎦᏚᎩ), to guide my vision for CDEI. GaDuGi means “People coming together as one and working to help one another.” I hope during this year we all come together and unite our efforts towards CDEI to make engineering education better. I want to take a moment to recognize my Chair’s team, Jeremi London (past Chair) and Meagan Pollock (incoming Chair), I am really excited about this team and the things we will be doing this year. Similarly, I want to express my gratitude to Liz Litzler who just rotated out after serving CDEI for 3 years. Liz is an inspirational leader who has had a huge impact in our community. Thank you, Liz.
