Dr. Hoda Ehsan
Hoda Ehsan is a research faculty at the Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics, and Computing at Georgia Institute of Technology. She received her Ph.D. from the School of Engineering Education, Purdue University. She also holds degrees in mechanical engineering and childhood education. She conducts engineering education research in K-12 informal and formal settings and aims to promote engineering thinking in children through designing fun engineering activities. She is also very interested in supporting neurodiverse learners in engineering education.

Laura M. Cruz Castro
Laura M. Cruz Castro is a M.S student in the Department of Electrical and Computer engineering under the advice of Dr. Mirelle Boutin and a Ph.D. student in the Department of Engineering Education under the guidance of Dr. Kerrie Douglas, both at Purdue University. She holds a B.S. in Statistics from Universidad Nacional de Colombia and a M.S. in Business Intelligence from Universität de Barcelona. Her research interests include educational data mining, ethical considerations regarding the use of data in education, assessment in engineering education, and the statistics curriculum for engineering. She is a member of Eta Kappa Nu (HKN), Purdue. |
